Ethno-Media-Scapes is a long-term initiative of a group of people who are interested in raising awareness of the unconscious sounds and images from everyday life that configure the specificities of local urban spaces by using social interaction tools for mediating perceptions and representations.It is also about finding our connections with the unknown space, reflecting and interpreting other people’s emotions and experiences regarding known places, and together building the narratives and layers of myriad possibilities to explain the world we live in.Our plan for now is to focus on elementary and secondary schools in Porto and its surroundings.
