What can be written about the future? Anything and everything.We invite the citizens and visitors of Oporto to speak in public… in writing.

Dozens of 3-D letters will be made available in public spaces. These letters can be re-arranged by anyone in order to make sentences and convey messages; they can be moved around the space and thus materialize the individuals ideas through deconstruction, re-contextualization, reinvention. The Future thus becomes an endless construction of forms and content.

The messages will be documented and will be made part of an ongoing participatory online archive, where people can further continue the discussion initiated on the public landscape.

Content generated in this lab will be permanently exhibited in the Type the Future project website, to be opened to the public at the futureplaces closing session, October 22.
