Networked Practices

A model for artistic creation and collaboration.

Networked environments as a model of sustainable artistic creation. Following upon the research developed by Daniel Pinheiro and Lisa Parra within their LAND PROJECT, the goal is to address the affordances of networked systems as a process of artistic creation. While focusing on strategies to develop a choreographic work across the internet, Lisa and Daniel find themselves surrounded by projects that take on the possibilities of the Internet as a form of artistic creation. The discussion aims at showcasing specific works developed within networked environments and to explore the possibilities of emergent models of artistic collaboration/engagement.
